Job Title: Travel Sterile Processing Technician
Location: Long Beach, CA 90805
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Travel Pay Rate: $1,232.50/week
Job Summary:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Travel Sterile Processing Technician to decontaminate, assemble, sterilize, and maintain surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and infection control standards.
Responsibilities:
Follow ANSI/AAMI standards, IFUs, SOPs, and work instructions.
Decontaminate, clean, assemble, and package surgical instruments and trays.
Operate washers, sterilizers, and related equipment safely.
Inspect instruments for cleanliness, damage, and functionality.
Maintain sterilization records, inventory, and supply levels.
Keep work areas organized and adhere to infection control procedures.
Collaborate with team members and suggest workflow improvements.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of sterile processing experience.
Knowledge of surgical instruments, sterilization techniques, and infection control.
Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CRCST or CIS).
Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and computer skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work collaboratively.
High school diploma or equivalent.
