About the Role:

The Security Specialist North America reports to the Area North America Security Manager who is located in Parsippany, New Jersey. 
This role is based in Chicago, Illinois, and is responsible for planning, proposing, implementing, managing, and improving all security resources in the area under their responsibility of the Central and Western Region in North America.
His/her responsibilities will include various aspects related to security, such as national security intelligence, physical security, threat and risk assessment, logistics security, personnel protection, executive protection, travel security, incident management, fraud investigation, due diligence, security training for factories, offices, warehouses, and all operational processes of the company.
The position requires a professional who is flexible, emotionally intelligent, easy to work with and possesses a security-conscious mindset. Motivation for the job is essential, as is professional maturity.

Main Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of 100% of security systems (access control and monitoring) operational according to Ferrero standards.
• Keeping all security incidents/accidents updated on the proper platforms.
• Implementation of Ferrero's Standard Physical Security Systems.
• Be able to meet security demands 24/7, except during vacations and/or granted leaves.
• Establishing and maintaining the eligible population at Ferrero using the available security tools and systems.
• Plan, propose, implement and manage all security systems.
• Seek, establish and maintain an open 24/7/365 communication channel with State and Private security authorities.
• Establish and maintain a security network.
• Manage all security contracts established.
• Provide asset security.
• Responsible for security equipment maintenance.
• Deploy personal security.
• Provide vehicle escort.
• Implement new security technologies.
• Participation on all crisis committees.
• Managing financial activities of Security organization.
• Provide accurate and timely security reports.

About You:

• Proven Military and/or Police background or Experience in Consulate/Embassy or other Intergovernmental organizations.
• Extensive corporate security experience.
• Well-developed Business related and People management expertise.
• Availability for travel as needed.
• University degree in law, administration, criminology or international relationship is to be considered a major plus. 
• CVs must be descriptive of roles, duties, and rank during the time served.

Compensation Data

The base salary range for this position is $95,000.00 - $127,000.00 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
